Prompt
Act as a long-time subreddit regular who writes posts mods can leave up. Your job is compliance and usefulness, not "beating" AutoMod. If the post is a bad fit, say so and suggest a better sub or a better framing. Inputs: - Subreddit: [Subreddit] - Rules paste: [Rules] - Post goal: [Ask for advice / share a result / resource / war story] - What happened: [Facts] - What I want from commenters: [Ask] - My relationship to any product or link: [None / I built it / I work there / affiliate] - Account age and karma (if known): [Account] - Links I want to include: [Links or none] - Things I must not do: [Must not] Generate: 1. Fit check: Can this post live here under the pasted Rules? If no, say which rule it trips and either (a) reframe until it fits or (b) name a better destination in one line. Do not invent a sub's rules. 2. Removal risks: 5 specific ways this draft would get removed (missing context, self-promo ratio, medical/legal claims, vote begging, wrong flair, link in body when the sub wants a comment, etc.). Map each to a line in Rules if present. 3. Title options (5): Specific, lowercase-or-sub-native, no clickbait. Mark one recommended. No "you won't believe," no emoji, no ALL CAPS unless the sub does that. 4. Full post: Paste-ready body. Structure: - One-line context (who I am relative to the story, no resume). - What happened, in causal order, only from Facts. - What I already tried. - The actual ask, one sentence. - Optional: a short "if it is useful" detail dump behind a line break. Match the sub's tone from Rules (clinical, casual, no memes, etc.). 5. Link and promo handling: If I built it or work there, disclose in the first 3 lines. If the sub bans links in the body, move the URL to a comment template. If the post is mainly an ad, refuse to disguise it and write a version that is 90 percent value, 10 percent mention, or say it should not be posted. 6. Comment kit: First comment I should post (extra detail or disclosure). 3 replies I should be ready for (skeptical, off-topic, "this is an ad"). 7. Flair and timing: Suggested flair from Rules. When not to post (weekends, peak drama) only if Rules say so; otherwise "follow the sub's posted hours, if any." Constraints: - Follow the pasted Rules as law. If Rules are missing, ask for them and draft a conservative version that over-discloses and skips links. - Do not invent subreddit lore, ban reasons, or karma thresholds not in Inputs. - No vote begging, awards begging, sockpuppet notes, or "how to evade a ban." - Do not claim the post "will not get removed." Say it is built to follow the written rules. - Honor Must not. - No medical, legal, or financial advice unless the sub is for that and Rules allow it; even then, stay inside Facts.

Examples
Example Input
Subreddit: r/smallbusiness Rules paste: Be civil. No spam or affiliate dumps. Self-promotion allowed only if 90 percent of the post is useful without clicking a link, and you disclose you made it. No "hire me" posts. Title must describe the post. Include numbers when you claim a result. No asking for upvotes. Flair required: Question / Lesson / Resource / Rant. Post goal: share a result and ask what to do next What happened: I run a 2-person bookkeeping firm. We published a free 6-page "month-end close checklist" PDF on our site. Posted it in our existing client newsletter only. 40 downloads in 3 weeks, 2 of those became $300/mo clients. Cost was 6 hours of my time. I want to post the checklist as a Lesson and ask whether to put it behind an email gate. What I want from commenters: advice on gate vs stay free, and whether this is too small to treat as a channel My relationship to any product or link: I built it; it lives on our site Account age and karma: 3 years, ~2k karma, have commented in this sub before, first time posting a resource Links I want to include: https://example-firm.test/month-end-checklist Things I must not do: fake bigger numbers, ask people to upvote, hide that it is ours, promise the PDF will get them clients
Example Output
1. Fit check
Yes, as a Lesson, if the body teaches without the click and you disclose you wrote the PDF. Self-promo is allowed under the 90 percent rule. "Hire me" is not this post if you never ask for work.
2. Removal risks
- Link-first body: trips "useful without clicking." Put the method in the post; link last.
- Missing numbers: Rules require numbers when you claim a result. Keep 40 downloads, 2 clients, $300/mo, 6 hours.
- Hidden ownership: disclose in the first 3 lines that you wrote it.
- Title that does not describe: "game changer checklist" would fail "title must describe."
- Vote begging: any "if this helps, upvote" line. Do not use it.
- Treating 2 clients as a channel: overclaim could get the post flaired down or removed as fluff. Keep scale honest.
3. Title options (5)
A. Lesson: free 6-page close checklist, 40 downloads, 2 new $300/mo clients in 3 weeks (recommended)
B. We spent 6 hours on a free month-end checklist. 40 downloads, 2 clients. Gate it or not?
C. Small bookkeeping firm: newsletter-only PDF, 40 downloads, 2 clients, asking about email gates
D. Is 2 clients from a free PDF a channel or a fluke? Numbers inside
E. Month-end checklist we already sent clients: 40 downloads, 2 conversions, what next
4. Full post
I wrote this. I run a 2-person bookkeeping firm. This is not a hire-me post.
We already close books for clients. I turned our internal month-end steps into a 6-page checklist PDF and put it on our site. The only promotion was our existing client newsletter. No ads, no Reddit, no LinkedIn blast. Time cost: 6 hours of my time.
In 3 weeks: 40 downloads. 2 of those people became $300/mo clients. I am not saying the PDF "gets you clients." Two conversions is the whole dataset.
What is actually on the pages: a day-by-day close order, the reports we pull, the three mistakes we see every month (uncategorized transfers, duplicate personal charges, missing loan interest), and a "done means" column so a bookkeeper can hand it to a junior.
What I already tried: newsletter only. I have not run ads and I have not gated it.
Ask: for a firm this small, do you put the next version behind an email gate, or leave it free and treat the 2 clients as a nice accident? And is 40 downloads / 2 clients enough to call this a channel, or should I wait for a bigger sample?
Link (ours): https://example-firm.test/month-end-checklist
You do not need it to answer. The method is in the post.
5. Link and promo handling
Disclosure is in line 1. Link is last, labeled ours. Body stands if the URL dies. Do not put the URL in the title. If AutoMod yanks links, post the URL as a first comment and leave a "[link in comments, it is ours]" line in the body.
6. Comment kit
First comment: "Numbers again so they sit in one place: 40 downloads, 2 clients at $300/mo, 6 hours, newsletter-only, team of 2. I will not inflate these."
Skeptical ("this is an ad"): "Fair. The checklist is ours. The question is gate vs free. If the link bothers you, ignore it; the process is in the post."
Off-topic ("do my books"): "Not looking for clients here. Happy to talk about the gate decision."
"Too small": "Agreed it might be a fluke. That is the question."
7. Flair and timing
Flair: Lesson. Rules do not set hours. Post when you can stay for the first hour of comments. Do not ask for upvotes.
