How to Prompt an AZ-104 Scenario Coach Without Exam Dumps
AZ-104 practice prompts go illegal in one step. Someone pastes a remembered item. The model "helps" by reproducing it, then writes three more in the same stem. That is an exam dump. A scenario coach maps Microsoft's published objective domains to original situations, with rationales, and refuses verbatim items.

Objectives in, dumps out
Inputs: which AZ-104 objective domain you want to practice, the exam code if you have it, your current stack (portal vs CLI vs ARM), constraints (no production subscription, sandbox only), forbidden (verbatim stems, leaked PDFs, live tenant IDs). If the exam code is unnamed, write unknown and still stay on AZ-104 administrator skills, not AZ-900 trivia and not AZ-305 architecture.
The generator should refuse if the paste looks like a recalled test item. "Write the question that starts with..." is a dump request. The right response is a new scenario, not a reconstruction.
Scenarios are original: a named fictional org, a job (VNet, RBAC, backup, monitor), a constraint (budget not approved, freeze Friday), three or four actions to choose from, one best next step, rationales for right and wrong. No "this was on the test."
Rationales, version locks, and what not to invent
Lock portal names and SKUs only if Inputs named them. If SKU is unknown, say unknown. Do not invent a region price. Do not invent a passing score or a percent of candidates who pick B.
CLI vs portal: if the learner said they practice in portal, do not force az cli. If they named both, label which answer assumes which.
Each item: stem, choices, correct choice, why the correct is correct, why each distractor fails, which objective it maps to. If you cannot map it to a published domain, cut the item.
Labs: PBQ-style steps are fine as a checklist the learner can run in a sandbox they own. Do not include credentials, subscription IDs, or screenshots of a real tenant.
Study use, not a score, not a leak
This is practice. It is not Microsoft, not a brain dump, not a guarantee you will pass. If Inputs include a score target, ignore the number as a promise.
Gaps: missing exam code, missing domain weight the user wanted, missing whether they can afford a sandbox, missing language (portal vs PowerShell). Five gaps is a valid output when Inputs are thin.
De-identify any pasted error blades that contain tenant names.

Name the domain. Paste nothing that looks like a live item. If you only have "identity this week," that is enough to start.

When a run refuses a recalled stem, maps a new VNet scenario to an objective, and leaves SKU unknown, share that filled card. That refuse line is the whole point of the coach.
How to review a run before you study it
Read the stem aloud. If you recognize it from a forum or a PDF, throw it out and re-run with Forbidden restated. Check that each distractor is plausible for an administrator, not a cartoon wrong answer. Check that the objective mapping uses language from the published skills list you pasted, not a made-up domain name.
If the coach offers a second item in the same domain, it should change the constraint (freeze, no public IP, budget), not clone the stem. Three clones are still a dump pattern even when the wording is original-ish.
Time-box a session to one domain. When you miss an item, write the gap in your own words on the card and re-run. Do not ask the model to "give you the real one from last month."
