How to Prompt a Pinterest Idea Pin Frame Script

Idea Pin scripts fail when they invent the performance. The model writes a hook that "gets 10k saves," a celebrity voiceover, and a product claim your page does not make. You film. Brand asks where the save stat came from. Nowhere. The job is a frame-by-frame script from the facts and assets you own, with no invented engagement numbers.
The matching generator is the Pinterest Idea Pin Frame Script prompt. Browse related cards in the PromptDig library (Browse more prompts). When a filled frame list survives a claims check, share the version you actually use (Share a prompt).
Frames from assets, not from a trend report
Channel is Idea Pins (the multi-page or video format you named). Goal is saves, clicks, or follows only as you stated, without fake baselines. Facts: product or idea, steps you can show, claims you may make, brand colors if you named them, duration or page count if you named them. CTA is the one Pinterest destination you actually have: site, catalog, or follow. Voice is on-brand. Banned claims: #1, guaranteed results, invented save counts, celebrity. Assets: photos you own, product shots, step photos, no stock you do not have.
If you did not name a page count, the script should propose a count and mark it as a proposal, or list page count as a gap. Do not default to ten pages of fluff. If you have four step photos, you have four step frames plus a title and a CTA if those are extra assets.
On-frame text: short, from Facts. Do not put fake UI, fake URLs, or a logo you did not supply. Cover images for this blog follow the same rule. The pin script should not instruct "add the Pinterest logo."
No invented engagement, ingredients, or how-to steps
Saves, impressions, and click rates do not belong in the script unless they are in Facts (they almost never should). "This pin got 50k saves" is a lie even as a hook. Cut it.
How-to steps: only steps you can film or photograph from Assets and Facts. Do not add a fifth step you cannot show. Do not add an ingredient or SKU that is not in Facts. If this is a recipe Idea Pin and the recipe is incomplete, list missing amounts as gaps. Do not invent grams.
Claims: only approved claims. Do not add dermatologist-tested, organic, or #1 in its category. If a health or money claim appears, add not-advice. Pinterest is full of advice-shaped pins. Your script should not become medical, legal, or financial advice.
CTA only as given. If the CTA is save this idea, do not add a discount code. If the CTA is shop, only the product in Facts.
Frame list, overlay notes, and alt text without keyword stuffing
Each frame: visual (what is on camera), overlay text (short), spoken line if you asked for voice, duration if you named a duration. Overlay should not repeat a fake statistic. Spoken lines should match overlays so accessibility is not a second script of invented claims.
Alt text and description: from Facts, no keyword stuffing, no invented stats. If you did not supply a description character cap, do not invent one. If you did, print the count.
Gaps: missing page count, missing brand type rules, missing whether faces are allowed, missing product URL, missing whether music is licensed. Print those. Do not fill licensed music with a trending audio name.
Banned words: best, guaranteed, #1, invented percents. If the model writes "the secret 90% of people miss," quote and cut.
A worked pass: four photos, Friday publish, no quotes
Say Assets has four stills, Facts has three true steps, a Friday publish date, and budget not approved for a shoot. No customer quotes. The script can be title, three steps from Facts, CTA. It cannot add a testimonial frame. It cannot add a "50k saved this" sticker.
If a later still arrives, add a frame. Do not keep a celebrity-style talking-head frame you cannot shoot.
Watch aspect and safe area. If you named Idea Pin specs, lock them. If you did not, write unknown and keep overlay away from edges as a generic caution, not a fake pixel spec.
Secondary assets: a pin description and a first comment, both from Facts. The comment is not a place to add a new claim.
Fill the card, then run
List the steps you can show, the claims you may make, and the CTA URL you actually have.

An Idea Pin is a storyboard of things you can put on camera. When a run drops a save-count sticker because Facts had none, share that filled card.
