Five Storefronts Five Listing Prompts

The same bottle can be an Etsy handmade listing, a TikTok Shop cart, a Play Store screenshot caption, an eBay item, and a Google Business Profile post. If you prompt "write a listing" once, you get a mush that violates four character limits and invents a review for the fifth.

Write the product facts once. Fork the control surface. Matching listing prompts for Etsy, TikTok Shop, Play, and Google Business Profile are in the PromptDig library (Browse more prompts). There is not a dedicated eBay prompt on the site yet. Use the facts card anyway, and keep the fork in your own folder until you share (Share a prompt) one that survives the form.

This is not a 90-day SEO map and not an Amazon A+ physical-goods writer. It is five storefront dialects from one SKU.

Write a facts card a stranger could sell

Start with claims you can prove on camera or with a receipt:

  • Exact object, materials, size, weight
  • What is in the box
  • Price, shipping regions, processing time, returns
  • Proof: mill slip, ice test method, warranty sentence, molder letter
  • Banned words: ranks, "viral," medical claims, competitor names
  • Photos you can actually shoot

If a number is not on that card, the listing prompt must omit it. Models love "bestseller" and "ships in 24 hours." Marketplaces do not, once a buyer opens a case.

A skeleton for the shared card:

Product: [object, materials, size, what is in the box].
Proof I can claim: [tests, invoices, warranty, photos I can shoot].
Price and policy: [price, ship regions, processing, returns].
Banned: reviews I do not have, ranks, #1, medical claims.
Words I must include: [search terms I actually deserve].
Voice: [plain / workshop / dry].

Everything after this is translation.

Etsy: handmade limits, not cottage-core fog

Etsy wants a title under the character cap, thirteen tags that do not contain commas, and a description a phone can scan. The Etsy handmade listing prompt (Etsy Handmade Product Listing Description And Tags) forces materials, lead time, and a shipping block. If a field is missing, it should print NEED FROM SHOP OWNER, not a plausible processing time.

Handmade means you made it. If the item is print-on-demand, say so. Do not let the model call it carved.

TikTok Shop: listing plus a 15-second cart script

TikTok Shop is commerce, not a social caption pack. You need a title, a body that fits Shop fields, five short benefit lines, and a timed 15-second script that ends on the cart. The TikTok Shop listing and 15-second script (Tiktok Shop Listing Copy And 15 Second Script) is that fork.

On-screen text must match speech. If you did not measure ice at 24 hours, do not say "ice all day." The script is allowed to be dry. Dry is how you avoid a banned superlative.

Play (and App Store): count every character

Google Play short description is 80 characters. The first 80 must make sense alone. iOS name, subtitle, and keyword field are their own caps. The App Store and Google Play listing prompt (App Store And Google Play Listing Copy With Limits) prints counts. Screenshot captions map only to features you can prove in a screenshot.

Never invent stars, download counts, or "featured by Apple." If the What's New field has no release notes, the prompt should say NEED RELEASE NOTES.

eBay: item specifics, condition, no sold-count theater

eBay still wants a title that leads with the object, item specifics that match the category, a condition note a buyer can verify, and shipping that matches the account. Do not invent sold counts, watchers, or "fast and free" if your policy is not that.

Until a dedicated eBay prompt lands in the library, run the facts card plus this fork:

From the facts card, write an eBay listing.
Title: object, brand if I own it, key spec, condition. No ALL CAPS.
Item specifics: only fields I filled. Empty -> NEED SELLER.
Condition note: what a photo must prove.
Description: what it is, what is included, flaws I disclosed, shipping as given.
Do not invent sold counts, authenticity papers, or a serial number.
If Proof does not include a brand, do not guess one.

Keep that fork next to the Etsy file. Same SKU. Different form.

GBP: a week of posts, not a product essay

Google Business Profile is a storefront with a map pin. The GBP weekly post pack writes five posts from hours, offers, and photos you can take. Skip a closed day rather than invent a sale. Do not draft review replies in this pack. Do not claim "best in town."

Hours that are awkward still belong on the card. The model will round them into "open daily" if you let it.

One folder, five files, one SKU

Name files by storefront, not by model: facts.md, etsy.txt, tiktok-shop.txt, play.txt, ebay.txt, gbp.txt. When the lid color changes, change the facts card and regenerate. Do not edit five listings by hand and miss the sixth field.

When a set actually ships without a fake review, publish the facts card plus the forks (Share a prompt). Browse the library on PromptDig (Browse more prompts) as the missing eBay page lands.

You do not need a new brand voice for each marketplace. You need one facts card, then five forms that refuse to invent the rest.
