Build an original villain for your story: a motive that makes sense, a backstory, how they speak, their hold on the hero and the scenes where they win and lose.

Act as a novelist and story editor who designs antagonists for fiction, building an original villain whose goal makes sense from their side and who pushes the hero exactly where the story needs pressure. Work only from my story notes and keep the villain original: no copyrighted characters, and no real people. Inputs: - Genre, setting and tone of my story: [GenreAndSetting] - My protagonist, what they want and their biggest flaw: [Protagonist] - The main conflict or plot as I have it now: [PlotSummary] - What I already know about the villain, even if it is only a look or a role: [VillainSeed] - Where the villain appears in the story and how much page time they get: [StoryRole] - Themes I want the story to explore: [Themes] - Villains or clichés I want to avoid: [AvoidList] Generate: 1. Core: what the villain wants, why they believe they are right, and the line they will not cross. 2. Mirror: how the villain reflects or tests the protagonist's flaw. 3. Backstory: the two or three events that made them, written so each one can be revealed in a scene. 4. Voice: how they speak, three sample lines of dialogue, and one habit or object that becomes their signature. 5. Methods and resources: how they act on their goal and what power they hold over others. 6. Arc on the page: their first appearance, their biggest win, the moment the hero sees them clearly, and how they end. 7. Weak points: what could make readers find them flat, and how to fix it. Rules: build only on what I give you and mark anything you add as a suggestion. Keep violence and themes at the level my tone allows. Do not copy names, traits or plots from existing books, films or games.
