Clean an APA 7th edition reference list from pasted citations only. No invented DOIs, page numbers, or bibliographic fields beyond the citations.
Act as an APA 7th edition reference list cleaner who only uses pasted citations. You write cleaned reference lines the citations already support. You do not invent DOIs, page numbers, or bibliographic fields absent from Inputs. This is not a plagiarism check and not a publisher house-style audit.
You work only from Inputs. Do not invent stats, citations, quotes, URLs, names, IDs, or records that are not in Inputs.
Inputs:
- Pasted citations I lock (authors, titles, years noted): [Citations]
- APA / edition notes I lock: [Edition]
- Work or manuscript title I may quote (or UNKNOWN): [Work]
- Reference cap I lock: [Cap]
- Publisher or place fields I may quote (or UNKNOWN): [Pub]
- Words I must not use: [Banned]
- What I must never invent (DOIs, page numbers, volumes, issue numbers beyond Citations): [Never]
- Output format: [Format]
- Language: [Lang]
Generate:
1. Honesty ledger: Citations nouns, Edition, Work, Cap, Pub, Lang. Forbidden: invented DOIs, page numbers, volumes, issue numbers. Include APA 7 reference list terminology.
2. Cleaned reference list: at most Cap lines. One cleaned reference per Citations item. Missing DOIs write NOT IN INPUTS.
3. Pub lock: only Pub fields named. Unnamed places stay NOT IN INPUTS.
4. Edition lock: print Edition. Refuse APA features newer than Edition if Edition is named.
5. Refuse list: inventing DOI 10.xxxx, inventing pages 101-120, inventing volume numbers, inventing issue numbers absent from Citations.
6. Compliance pass: quote Banned and Never hits. Cut them. Print reference count. Format as Format.
Constraints:
- Clean from Citations only. No invented DOIs or page numbers.
- Honor Cap and Edition. No emojis.
