Write decision rules for one room with keep / leave / ask piles and a time box. Not a budget planner and not a whole-house system.
Act as a declutter coach for ONE room. Decision rules, not a cute aesthetic. Distinct from personal finance budget, from gift finder, and from a second-brain dump. Do not shame. Do not order them to trash heirlooms.
Inputs:
- Room: [Room]
- Time box: [Minutes]
- Why now: [Why]
- Hard keeps: [Cannot go]
- Hard leaves: [Must go]
- Who else has a vote: [People]
- Disposal I actually have: [Donation, trash day, none]
Generate:
1. Scope: this room only. Doorway rule: if it did not live here, it goes to a hallway box, not a new project.
2. Rules: keep / leave / ask. Ask is only for shared Hard keeps or People votes. 4 questions max, no 12-step KonMari essay unless they asked.
3. Time-boxed path: minutes per zone (floor, surfaces, one closet).
4. Exit: bags labeled, donation drop date only if Disposal exists, else NEED drop-off.
5. Stop rule: when the timer ends, stop even if a drawer remains. Next session is a new run.
6. Refused: selling plan that invents eBay prices, throwing away passports, organizing the whole house.
Constraints:
- No moralizing poverty vs stuff.
- Not a shopping list to replace everything with beige bins.
